HAWE Hydraulik Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German HAWE Hydraulik Group, specializing in the development and production of high-pressure hydraulic components and systems. In 2019, HAWE decided to establish its largest production and operation base outside Germany in Wuxi. Despite challenges such as the ongoing pandemic, the project was completed and put into operation in 2022. This project is a strategic response by HAWE Group to global challenges.

The project is located in the Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Wuxi, covering an area of 33,157 square meters. The facility includes production plants, office spaces, and supporting facilities, with an annual output of 14,000 hydraulic systems.

Shading Solution: Aluminum Venetian Blinds – The Magician of Sunlight

To provide a comfortable indoor environment for the HAWE project, Jinxingyu Shading tailored a shading solution featuring aluminum Venetian blinds. This product is perfectly suited for public buildings, offering exceptional benefits in terms of sun protection, light control, and ventilation, as well as privacy.

When closed, the aluminum Venetian blinds achieve over 80% shading, effectively blocking sunlight and preventing glare, allowing for softer indoor light and a more comfortable visual experience. The blinds can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees, allowing precise control of the light entering the space, maximizing the use of natural light while reducing energy consumption from artificial lighting.

In the summer, the blinds can be closed or slightly adjusted to block sunlight, providing insulation and reducing cooling energy consumption. In the winter, the blinds can be opened to allow sunlight in, offering energy-efficient heating and comfort.

The slats, reinforced through edge curling, maintain strength even under strong winds up to 90 km/h. When fully closed, the blinds automatically lock and become opaque, preventing external rain and dust from polluting the window glass.

The aluminum Venetian blinds are made from carefully selected materials and crafted with precision. The lift tapes are made from Swiss Huber composite resin, meeting maritime standards; the tilting cords are from the German Koch brand, ensuring over 30,000 usage cycles; and the side guides are made from high-density aluminum alloy, making them durable and reliable.

Additionally, the product has passed professional tests for UV resistance, abrasion resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, wind pressure resistance, and waterproofing, ensuring a service life of over 20 years in outdoor conditions.

Smart Control: Enhancing Comfort Further

To meet the overall design requirements of the HAWE project, the shading system was integrated with the Magic Sun smart control system, addressing the common issues of inconvenience and inefficiency in traditional shading systems.

The smart control system allows for highly automated control through software programming, integrated with the building management system to optimize temperature and artificial lighting. Users can operate the blinds locally to adjust the slats’ tilt, raise, lower, or stop them as needed, or manage different facades and zones centrally from the control room.

The system supports switching between automatic and manual modes and can be programmed for specific dates or time periods, significantly reducing the need for manual operation. Equipped with wind, light, and rain sensors, the system monitors environmental conditions in real-time, automatically retracting the blinds during storms to protect indoor assets.

Based on information like the sun’s altitude and azimuth, the smart shading system customizes the slat angles to fit the project’s needs, ensuring optimal shading performance, energy efficiency, and comfort.
